Salvation

The bible says that we all must be saved. Salvation comes by believing on Jesus. We needed to be saved from the judgement and punishment of our sins, which is death. The bible says "all have sinned" (Rom 3:23). God, who is the judge of the universe, as a just God needed to punish sin. The bible says that Jesus became the propitiation for our sins. This means that he took the punishment for our sins and we became saved from having to pay for them ourselves. Why would he do this? Ephesians 2:4 tells us. It says that God did it "because of His great love with which He loved us." Jesus also said that "God so loved the world" in John 3:16. God had such a great love for us that He sent his son to die in our place so that we wouldn't be condemned to eternal destruction and separation from God. The punishment for your sins was put on Jesus and he literally took your sins in his own body. How do you accept this payment for your sins? How do you become saved from eternal destruction? The bible says "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Rom 10:9). Pray this prayer with me to receive salvation:

Lord Jesus I confess that I am a sinner.
I accept your payment for my sins on the cross.
I make you my Lord and Savior
Come into my heart and
fill me with your Holy Spirit and fire.
Make me a new creation now in Jesus name.

Friend if you prayed that prayer you just got born again and became a new creation (2 Cor 5:17). You are now a child of God and have been forgiven of all your sins. Your sins past, present, and future have all been atoned for in the work of Jesus and are all washed away by His blood. His blood is the most powerful cleansing agent in the universe.

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show you where your home church is. The Lord said not to forsake the gathering of the believers in Hebrews 10:25. You have a special place in the body of Christ and you just need to ask the Lord where it is. Look for a spirit filled church that believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. You also want to get a bible and began reading the word of God. The bible says about itself that the words in it are "life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh" (Prov 4:22). I would recommend the New King James Version because it is a very accurate translation and is easy to read. Welcome to the family of God! Your life will never be the same.
