Who Is God?

God is the creator of the universe. He is before all things and by him all things consist (Col 1:17). All things were created by Him and for Him (Col 1:16). He exists in three persons- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He has lived forever and has no beginning or end. At his core, He is only good. He is the Father of all creation who is good in nature. He is an all knowing and omnipresent God. He is light and He is love.

God came to the earth in the form of a man. His name was Jesus. The bible says that the fulness of the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) dwells in Him bodily (Col 2:9). Jesus is God. He is the express image of God and He upholds all things by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). When we look at Jesus, we are looking at the exact image of God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. The bible says that Jesus came to the earth to take away the sins of the world (1 John 4:10). His mission was to become the savior of the world by taking our sins on the cross for us.

He is a kind and loving God who wants to be in relationship with you. If you haven’t been born again, then read my post about salvation and pray the prayer of salvation to receive eternal life. Be blessed!
